These Chicken Bhuna Egg Rolls are a great, simple and versatile meal that can be used for a tasty lunchtime treat or an on-the-go snack. The egg and chicken also make for a great post workout protein hit!
Chicken Bhuna Egg Rolls Recipe
- Kohinoor Adraki Bhuna Sauce – 1 packet
- Kohinoor Coriander and Mint Chutney – Optional
- Kohinoor Chilli Garlic Chutney – Optional
- Chicken Breast Cut Into Strips – 600 grams
- Diced Red Onions – 50 grams
- Diced Red And Green Bell Pepper -100 grams
- Oil -100ml
- Garam Masala – 2 grams
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Medium Tortillas – 4
- Eggs – 4
Heat a frying pan with 2 tablespoons of oil, sauté the onions and bell peppers till lightly coloured. Remove and keep aside. In the same pan add 2 tablespoons of oil and sauté the chicken breast strips, add salt, garam masala and the Kohinoor Bhuna sauce, allow to cook.
When the chicken is cooked, add in the cooked onions, bell peppers and chopped coriander.
Clean the frying pan, heat with 3 tablespoons of oil, whisk one egg and add to the pan, place one tortilla on top of the egg, fry until all the egg is cooked. Ensure that the egg is on one side of the tortilla, flip and fry the other side of the tortilla
Remove from the pan, keeping the egg side inside, add the chicken filling and make a wrap.
